Meet Our Care Professionals

Kenyada Brown, BD, CBE

Kenyada is a birth doula and childbirth educator.  Committed to birthwork Kenyada is also a Learning Traditional Midwife and a proud mother.  She is available to doula homebirth mothers. 

Ameera Ashshakir, CBD, PD, PT

Ameera is a Learning Midwife, personal trainer, birth and postpartum doula.  She is available for postpartum care.

Mama Mawusi Ashshakir, TM, BD, CBE, CLC, ND.

Mawusi Ashshakir provides culturally rooted, compassionate birth support, empowering mothers and families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum doula training, and advocacy for 25 years. She is grounded in community and tradition.

Stella Crossty, CBD 

Stella is a fierce advocate for Freebirth, a certified birth boula.  She is available for births.

Kristen Bostic, BD, CBE, CLC 

Kristen is a birth doula,  childbirth educator and a lactation consultant.  She also supports doulas in getting certified with the board of nursing and medicaid. 

Alicia Joiner, CBD, RN

Alicia is a Regestered Nurse and a certified birth doula.  She works with mothers who need advocacy and support.
